Procedure for listing high-risk plants, plant products and other objects

Based on a preliminary assessment, certain plants, plant products and other objects are listed in the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2019 as high-risk plants, whose import into the EU is prohibited pending a risk assessment. This initiative aims to clearly outline the procedure for listing plant, plant product or other objects as high-risk plants, to ensure transparency and consistency for Member States, third countries and the professional operators concerned.
