Biocidal products are used to control unwanted organisms harmful to human or animal health or to the environment, or that cause damage to human activities. The Biocidal Products Regulation aims to improve the functioning of the internal market for biocidal products, while ensuring a high level of protection of human and animal health and the environment. The evaluation will assess how the Regulation has performed regarding its objectives, as well as regarding existing and emerging needs and will identify issues that need to be improved.
