Skills portability, action 3: EU action on the recognition of qualifications and skills of third country nationals
FILTERED OUTEU_HAVE_YOUR_SAYOPC_LAUNCHED2/27/2026, 11:59:59 PM
The initiative will introduce EU rules to simplify recognition of qualifications of third-country nationals, helping to address labour and skills shortages in the EU. National recognition procedures for third country nationals are diverse and often slow and ineffective. They prevent third country nationals from accessing the labour market and reduce EU’s attractiveness as a destination for skilled workers from abroad. The initiative would respect Member State competence on migration and regulation of professions, while simplifying procedures.
