Today, having your skills and qualifications understood by employers in another EU Member States remains challenging, also because diplomas are often paper-based. The initiative aims to build on existing tools for transparency of skills and qualifications and to explore the promotion of interoperable digital credentials. The goal is to facilitate worker’s mobility, enhance the single market, and make it easier for skills and qualifications to be understood and accepted across the EU.
